Light, Heritage, and Art

VERONESE — A DIALOGUE BETWEEN LIGHT, HERITAGE AND ART

Since 1931, Veronese has stood at the intersection of French decorative sensibility and the ancestral mastery of Murano glass. Born in Paris during the height of the Art Deco era, the maison was founded with a singular vision: to create exceptional lighting pieces that merge the timeless elegance of Venetian glassmaking with the bold refinement of French design.

Paolo Veronese

Named in homage to the Italian Renaissance painter Paolo Veronese — known for his dramatic use of colour and composition — the brand carries forward a legacy of artistic expression through glass. From the very beginning, Veronese collaborated with leading architects and interior designers of its time, crafting luminous works that adorned palaces, grand hôtels, and ocean liners. The now-iconic Cascade chandelier of 1938 is but one example of the maison’s flair for scale, grace, and precision.

A tailored conversation…

At the heart of Veronese is its unwavering dedication to craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade by Murano’s finest glassmakers, whose knowledge is passed down through generations. The shapes, colours, and textures reflect a deep respect for material and tradition — yet are continually reimagined through contemporary collaborations with renowned designers such as Olivier Gagnère, Chantal Thomass, and Maurizio Galante.

More than a manufacturer, Veronese is a creative partner. Every project is an exchange — a tailored conversation between place, purpose, and emotion. From private residences to luxury hospitality projects, each commission is treated with the utmost attention, with the maison offering full customisation in scale, palette, and form.

The studio also serves as a guardian of design heritage. With access to decades of archival components and rare glass elements, Veronese restores historic pieces with care and reverence, ensuring that each object’s spirit endures, even as its structure is renewed.

Today, Veronese continues to explore the expressive potential of light and glass. Each collection, each creation, speaks softly of tradition — and boldly of imagination. To live with Veronese is to live with beauty, craftsmanship, and the quiet poetry of illumination.
