Founded in 2010 by Tom Helme and Martin Ephson, Fermoie is a British textile company celebrated for its luxurious fabrics and steadfast commitment to sustainability. Based in Marlborough, Fermoie combines traditional craftsmanship with eco-conscious practices.

Fermoie blends traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to produce fabrics of exceptional quality. Every stage of the process—from design and dyeing to printing and finishing—is meticulously controlled in-house, ensuring both aesthetic excellence and long-lasting durability.

Fabrics are printed using water-based pigments, and much of the manufacturing is carried out locally, supporting ethical practices and transparency.

Linen, Cotton & Recycled Polyester.

Sustainability is at the core of Fermoie’s philosophy. The brand prioritizes eco-friendly raw materials and low-impact production methods, with a focus on minimizing waste and reducing its environmental footprint. Linen, their primary fabric, is woven from flax grown within a few hundred miles of their Wiltshire mill. Cotton is sourced from the UK's first Soil Association and Global Organic Textile Standard accredited cotton mill, ensuring organic and ethical production practices.

In 2024, Fermoie introduced its Indoor-Outdoor collection, made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. These fabrics are free from harmful chemicals such as PFCs and PFAS and are designed to be water-repellent, mould and mildew resistant, and UV-stable, ensuring longevity and vibrant colours .

Commitment to Sustainability.

All Fermoie products are designed and crafted in-house, enabling precise control over environmental impact. Producing with sustainable packaging practices, Fermoie utilizes biodegradable bubble wrap and carbon-neutral polythene derived from sugar cane.
